HANS PREUSTING, PHD, MBA
Hans Preusting has over 25 years of experience in the Life Science sector and has a track record in business development, product development and GMP manufacturing. He is one of the founders of Synerkine Pharma and CEO since mid 2018. During his career, Hans worked for several biotech and pharma companies such Solvay Pharmaceuticals, DSM Biologics, Gist-brocades, and uniQure. At uniQure he was initially responsible for process development and GMP manufacturing of their gene therapy vectors and led projects from early phases up to the regulatory approval of the first approved gene therapy product in the Western world. Later, he became uniQure’s Chief Business Officer.
As an independent business consultant, he has supported Dutch and international biotech companies with their business development activities as well as with their challenges in process development and GMP manufacturing since 2016.
Hans Preusting holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and an MBA degree from Rotterdam School of Management.
